Sony Contacted us to help them create environments and a character to introduce Klaus as God played by Mark Harelik. After creating a couple of styleframes of how it could look with a fast turnaround we received a Storyboard and started designing and creating the dinosaur character as well as the environment he was going to be put into. Sony studios recorded Mark Harelik on green screen and our task was to key him out and create his surroundings. From reference frames of old stop motion dinosaur shows and with the goal of making it look good bad we set of to interpret the story in 3D animation and compositing.
